12 noon -1 p.m. “Pushkin's Poetry in Music” event for the Frunzenskiy district schoolchildren at the Library named after Chekhov, Ulitsa Turku, 11.  Program: several schoolchildren present their talks on Pushkin, Music School's choir sings music written on Pushkin's poetry, and Ludmilla Leibman gives a short talk on operas “Eugene Onegin” and “Boris Godunov” (organized by Olga Galitskaya)

5 -7 p.m. Celebrating Centennial of Ella Ellinson! Concert at the Museum of Isaac Brodskiy, Arts Square, 3.  Arranged by Anna Konivets (50 people seating capacity). Program includes LL Introduction, “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Mussorgsky performed by Igor Uryash, and, after Intermission, vocal music performed by singers from the Mariinsky Theater Academy: Marina Mariskina (mezzo-soprano), Alexandra Molchanova (mezzo-soprano), and Julia Sokolova (piano)
